Monthly Cluster Maintenance

Monthly maintenance takes place on the first Monday of each month from 7am - 11am unless pre-empted by a holiday, in which case it is moved the the second Monday. 

Maintenance details are posted on our Status Page roughly two weeks before once we have locked down all the tasks for that period. A history of Maintenance and other events can be found in the Status Page History.

A notice of upcoming maintenance is sent via email to all cluster users (Cannon and FASSE) during the last two weeks of the month. If work will affect non--cluster users, a notice is also sent to that group.

Yearly Downtime

The MGHPCC data center has a yearly power downtime which necessitates us taking the entire cluster down. This does not occur at the exact same time each year. We will provide ample notice several weeks beforehand.
